ive never seen this type of marketing strategy before, it's really smart how they make the audience more curious because of how "mysterious" this is. we dont even know the members' names, yet we're already getting a mv it feels very fresh.

This is an interesting, chill song. It's fresh and gives a late 90s/early 2000s vibe. Interesting marketing as well with knowing nothing about them, but glad that Min Heejin and Hybe released it this way because it definitely made me curious and it did catch my attention (yeah, that's no pun intended)

Girl groups really need this kind of concept. Especially minors. Not over sexualized dance moves or outfits, but just girls being girls and having fun. Respectful and refreshing. 💜

I don't get why you are asking this question. Can you elaborate your point please? If you're saying she's bias about groups under HYBE, well guess what you're in for a shock because I stan BTS, TXT and SSERAFIM, but I don't care about any other groups under HYBE labels. I got an idea of the concept ,it is like while we are going to new school 🎒, first we will be "attention" for whole class and then they ask lot of questions about us, then we feel hybe about a boy or we discuss about our hybe boy to our partners to make friends, and we may get hurt because we are new to school and then we share cookies 🍪🍪 to get familiar who refuse snack sharing snacks is best in school

뉴진스 뮤비 연출분들 영화 엄청 좋아하시나보다 아티스트들의 이쁜 모습이 어디서 어떤 사연으로 자연스럽게 흘러나와서 이쁘게 나올수 있는지 이해도도 높고 스토리텔링까지 있어서 재미도 더하는듯.. 음악도 좋고 애들도 이쁘고 노래도 잘하고ㅠㅠ 컴백 빨리해조오오...😢 요즘 좋은 노래가 없넹

Everything about this song is chill. Their costumes, casual. Their makeup, minimal. Their hair style, ordinary (all having natural long brown black hair untied loose). Something that we don't usually get to see in kpop. This felt more authentic and close to reality.

@@moehat6980 They are the group from ADOR entertainment (part of Hybe Labels) that we were waiting for since a long time. Because their CEO and creative director was the creative director of a lot of projects from SM artist (Shinee, f(x), Girls' Generation..) so people were very curious about them. But instead of announcing their debut with a teaser they released it directly, making everyone surprised ! The thing is that they don't have only 1 debut song but 3 ! The second one Hybe Boy was released already too. For now they're released exclusively on KZfaq with their music videos. On August 1st will be the full EP official release, and the start of promotions. Basically they're debuting with 3 title tracks and tons of promotions around it.

Lmao they are wearing just as much makeup, it's just been done in a more "clean girl" aesthetic and has been edited to look very peachlike and natural. And there's nothing wrong with wearing heavy makeup anyway. But i agree that the looks and vibes they are serving is very diff from typical kpop makeup and I'm here for it.

와 진짜 민희진이 말했던 정반합식 기획력이 더 한층 공감되는 데뷔 그룹이고, 데뷔곡이다.. 요즘처럼 걸크러쉬 내지는 콘셉츄얼함 같은 트렌드의 반대편에 있는듯한 이지리스닝과 자연스러움을 추구하는 것이 이 그룹의 특징인듯.. 어떤 노스탤지어 적인 감성을 기본적으로 갖고 있는데, 이렇게 12시 자정에 공개하는 것도 예전 프로모션스럽고.. 멤버들하고 직접 친해지면서 프로듀싱을 했다고 하는데 그만큼 자연스러움이 묻어나고 무엇보다 민희진 특유의 세련됨을 맘껏 느낄 수 있어서 좋음.. 포월즈 이후에 그런 세련됨을 어디서 느낄 수 있나 했더니 난 이 그룹에게서 어떤 긍정적인 미래가 보이는 듯..

I don't think I've ever seen a teen/coming of age movie kinda concept like this before. They pulled it off really well! Not to mention how calm and catchy this song is. It's kind of refreshing seeing something other than the stereotypical experimental girl crush styled songs that have been coming out recently (don't get me wrong I literally love so many songs like that too!) Also I kinda like their group name. It's unique and sorta early 00s-ish. I'm super excited to see what comes from these talented girls!

New to Kpop? SNSD, Gfriend, SES, FinkL, CSJH The Grace, Apink, Lovelyz, Cosmic Girls, Fromis_9, etc. etc. all debuted with their natural hair colors (or some in each dyed it a natural hair color like brown or blonde), did not have a girl crush concept, and their debut songs were all "pure" and "delicate" and "fresh" LOL. These girls are refreshing in the current kpop scene, but they are definitely not doing anything new. Korea and kpop especially is all about trends. They're just bringing an old trend back to stand out from the rest. Show the girls being "natural" and "fresh" for the debut, and in a couple of comebacks, include some new concept comebacks (yes, including girl crush) + get some of the members to dye their hair to stand out, etc. Guarantee you this'll be the case for NewJeans too. Like it is Min Hee Jin, the ex-creative director of SM, who made this group. She's very intelligent and KNOWS how this industry works from the inside out and how to create a successful group. It's a formula that's worked since the start of kpop. lol. Also, their sound is very old school kpop too. Honestly, NOTHING in music is 100% "original."

난 어텐션 처음 봤을때 신선한 충격이었음 긴머리 소녀들의 청순함 소녀들만 할 수 있는 순수한 포카리스웨트의 신선함같은 느낌이여서.. 뉴진스가 어텐션같은 컨셉으로 다시 해주면 좋겠음 염색 안 하고 노출 안 하고ㅜㅜ 긴 생머리가 포인트인듯

This is a really calming debut - nostalgic but definitely refreshing. I love how there’s so much originality, like it’s honestly so calm and cool to see. The change of choreography for the second verse and the overall vibe is unlike anything I’ve seen this year from the new groups!! Gives me childhood feels but also summery feels too, I’m absolutely dying for it!!

txt and itzy are better representative of gen z societal struggle and new gen z aesthetics in general. NewJeans is using the rise in y2k aesthetic and bringing the early 2000s trends back. We saw the rise of y2k aesthetic with twentry five twenty one we need to hear more songs from newjeans to see what direction they're going. It's too early to say anything yet.

The most original debut of the last few years of kpop. Everyone was doing the same thing and these girls came up with something almost like a new concept. There is no "pretend" in this music video nor the girls feel like they are acting like someone they are not. This feels real, and the music is different from what the kpop audience is used to. I hope NewJeans get the attention they deserve

I'm a big fan of f(x), especially their concepts every comeback. So the fact that this girlgroup is created and under the direction of Min Hee Jin, who used to work for SM about 17 years, and build concepts for f(x), SHINee, SNSD, EXO, is already enough for me to check them out, and see how this goes

Min Heejin is truly such a genius. Loved her work when she was still in SM & worked with groups such as F(x) and Red velvet. I'm amazed by the unique marketing, dropping a MV without any introduction. This group will be so unique. Love everything about them already, the MV, the outfits, the song.
